My son and his beautiful new wife had their wedding here on October 21st and it was absolutely beautiful. We had full use of the B&B and every room was clean and decorated beautifully. The staff was friendly, helpful and very attentive to all of our needs. Now, let's talk about the food. While we were getting ready for the wedding, we were provided with "snacks" and I must tell you that the chicken salad was phenomenal!! Our dinner after the wedding consisted of a roasted pork and some sort of roasted beef. I honestly thought it looked and tasted like prime rib, but both were so delicious, tender and cooked to perfection. For me though, the star of the wedding feast was the "Winter Salad". I loved it so much that I asked if they could box up the remainder of it for me to take home and they were happy to oblige. Overall, best "wedding food" I've ever eaten. I would recommend The Destination to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or any type of party or celebration. My husband and I are actually going to come back to stay at the B&B sometime soon and hopefully, winter salad will be on the menu when we do. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience and a wedding I'll never forget.

My husband and I stayed here and attended their Valentines dinner and concert yesterday (2/12/2022) it was wonderful, this was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. The owners are very friendly and kind, we felt like we known them for years. We had the red room and it was beautiful and cozy. The bathroom was gorgeous. Also the breakfast was very good. We definitely will be back and will spread the word about this place .

I was visiting Salem for a funeral and was thankful for GPS. I arrived after dark, but with Denise and Tom's advance planning, I was easily able to access the home and my room. It was late December and the room was a bit chilly, but was quickly warmed by the additional electric heat unit provided in the room. The bed was plush and comfortable and I slept soundly. The following morning I was greeted with a generous and tasty breakfast accompanied by delightful conversation about the history, renovation and decor of the house. Tom and Denise's hospitality make one to feel they are a guest in their home. I hope one day to return to the area for more joyful reasons (maybe a Girl's Trip to the nearby Antique Stores?!) and will certainly seek out The Destination for my accommodations!

Beautifully preserved old home in a perfect, tranquil country setting. The furnishings were lovely and the mattress very comfortable. Stayed twice in the Vintage Rose room… once on my road trip back home to Michigan, and then again a week later headed back to Alabama. Everything was clean and fresh.

Hosts Denise and Tom were relaxed and easy-going, very hospitable but not intrusive. Breakfast was delicious.

The property is about 15 miles off I-65, but well worth it for a comfortable, quiet stay. I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home away from home!

Denise and Tom week perfect host. The Bed & Break was cozy and comfortable and break was amazing with fresh eggs from their chickens. The Dutch Baby Pancakes with fresh Berries was amazing. I highly recommend them fir you next getaway.
